A Little About Me

Hi, I'm Dr. Shauri-Webb! I'm a licensed clinical psychologist, but you might also call me an "Inner Critic Annihilator." I help people who long to feel worthy and confident but hold themselves back in multiple areas of their lives because they don't think they're good enough. I guide them to pay attention to their strengths and bolster them to believe in themselves so that they can have healthier relationships with others and most importantly, with themselves.

I know from working in this field for the past decade that making yourself vulnerable and then being willing to talk about those vulnerabilities with someone you barely know is terrifying. Will you be judged? Will you scare me away? I can assure you that you won't. We can go at your pace with some gentle challenges to help you move forward. We will walk through the pain together.

3 Ideals That I Live By in My Therapy Practice

  • Laughter - I believe that it's important to laugh in therapy. The stuff we're dealing with in the therapy office is hard. I love the moments where I can share a belly laugh with a client. There's plenty of room for tears. Let's embrace the laughter together when we can.

  • Optimism - I believe that people are inherently good and that things will ultimately work out for the best. I've worked with enough people to confirm this belief. Deep down, we all just want love. We've gone through things that either make us doubt that love exists or that we're deserving of that love when it shows up. Here's a secret: It exists and you deserve it.

  • Embracing Imperfection - And now we've arrived at the real work: learning to love those imperfect parts of ourselves - because those parts deserve love, too.

I believe that learning to love ourselves a little more can change the world - or at least change your experience within it. That's why I hope you call to schedule a free consultation today.
